Desarrollo de competencias laborales y emprendedoras en jóvenes formados por el SENA

This article stems from an interest in delving deeper into the curriculum planning process developed for technical training. It is based on a documentary review carried out within the framework of the research proposal entitled “The impact of the curriculum on the development of job and entrepreneurial skills in young people in the context of the Municipality of El Retiro, Antioquia.” The research provides an understanding of the social, cultural, and economic dynamics that influence young people's lack of interest in training in carpentry, an activity deeply rooted in the identity of the municipality of Retiro, Antioquia. Through the systematic study of the environment and its particularities, relevant curriculum proposals can be generated, adapted to the territory and aligned with the needs and expectations of the community. In addition, research makes it possible to rescue and strengthen the ancestral legacy related to woodworking, thus preventing the loss of traditional knowledge that has historically characterized the region.
