Research on career planning path optimization of college students based on multicriteria decision analysis
Career planning of college students is a complex process. Multi-criteria decision analysis can help college students determine the relative importance of each factor, so as to provide priority ranking and help college students focus on the most critical factors in career planning. Based on the above advantages, this paper establishes a comprehensive weight index system based on factors such as personal characteristics, educational background, market demand and development potential, adopts the subjective analytic hierarchy process (AHP) to determine the subjective weight, and adopts the entropy weight method to calculate the objective weight. A comprehensive university in Y City is selected as a sample to verify the fit degree and explanatory power of the model. The results show that personal characteristics, market demand and development potential play an important role in career planning, while educational background plays a relatively low role. This research can provide scientific and effective career development guidance for college students and help them maximize their personal and social value.
