O uso do GeoGebra para Aprendizagem do Teorema de Pitágoras: contribuições para o desenvolvimento do pensamento geométrico

This experience report discussed the contributions of GeoGebra to learning the Pythagorean theorem through Lesson Study. Authors such as Ponte et al. were used to discuss the importance of technology combined with methodological approaches to develop geometric thinking. The research was qualitative, and Lesson Study from the perspective of Ponte et al. contributed to the organization, discussion, and planning, as well as data production. GeoGebra enabled the construction of the object through its movement and visualization resources. Exploratory teaching supported by Canavarro, Oliveira, and Menezes (2012) was fundamental in organizing the planning development moments in the classroom. The results show that, despite the challenges encountered, the resources and methodological approaches contributed to the students' development of geometric thinking, as well as to the reflection of the classroom teacher and the authors on their practices.
