The Role of Traditional Values in the Formation of the Cultural Identity of the Soviet People In the 1930s–1940s

The article analyzes the problem of the transformation of traditional values of national culture in the context of critical conditions of military conflict, and substantiates the formation of cultural identity of society based on traditional cultural values, considers the problem of mythologization of power with the help of traditional cultural symbols, and the inconsistency of their perception by the youth of that time.
