Intertextual Allusions in the Music Videos of the Musical Duo “Galibri & Mavik”
The concept of intertextuality has had a significant impact on the development of artistic culture and acquired bizarre images at the peak of its distribution and theoretical understanding in the 20th — early 21st centuries. The use of intertextual elements serves as a mechanism for enhancing and expanding the semiotic richness of audiovisual works. In this study, using the example of Russian music videos created on the compositions of the group “Galibri & Mavik”, intertext is considered as a means of semiotic contamination, the process of mixing and interpenetration of sign systems.
