Explanation of the need to use decision support systems in the design of autonomous generation energy systems in the areas of decentralized power supply of the Krasnoyarsk region
The article considers the urgent problem of designing reliable and cost-effective autonomous generation systems in hard-to-reach areas of decentralized power supply located in the Krasnoyarsk region. It highlights the complexity of analyzing and processing a large amount of data taken into account when developing solutions that meet the requirements of a wide variety of unique climatic, geographical and logistical conditions that do not allow the use of standard solutions. The rationale for using a decision support system (DSS) is given not only based on the complexity of the data, but also on the planned positive economic effects achieved through the introduction of the most optimal renewable energy sources (RES) for a particular locality. DSS, based on mathematical modeling and optimization methods, allow for a comparative analysis of various configurations, including those taking into account a mixed composition of RES and solutions combined with traditional sources of electrical energy. Simulation of the most complex operating modes allows for balancing between optimal system reliability indicators and its economic efficiency. It is proposed to use a three-level DSS architecture, which includes the collection of primary information, the formation of alternative options and analysis taking into account the quality of the obtained data.
