Research on spatio-temporal distribution of summer precipitation in high latitude area of China
This work aims to study and master the precipitation characteristics of equipment (products) in service in the high latitude area (HLA) of China. Based on the precipitation data of 19 national meteorological observation stations from 2010 to 2020, the distribution of annual summer precipitation, the diurnal variation of precipitation, heavy precipitation events are studied. The research findings indicate that the summer precipitation in the HLA is generally at a relatively low level. The maximum precipitation amount is only 404mm, and the occurrence times of short-term heavy precipitation and heavy rain are also less. Affected by the Lesser Khingan Mountains, the precipitation distribution pattern in the east is higher than that in the west and north. In addition, summer precipitation is mainly concentrated in July, and the proportion of precipitation during the day is relatively large. These research results can not only provide precipitation parameters for the natural environment test of equipment (products), but also offer valuable input for the environmental adaptability assessment and verification of equipment as well as the design of corrosion protection measures.
