Research on the selection of normal storage level for typical pumped storage power station reservoirs with comprehensive utilization tasks on sandy rivers
A typical pumped storage power station reservoir with comprehensive utilization tasks on the Sandy River was taken as the research object, the selection of normal water level was carried out. In response to the characteristics of multiple functions, complex scheduling procedures, and involvement of multiple stakeholders in the existing reservoir, the implementation effect of sediment control measures combined with guidance and sedimentation was considered to determine the characteristic water levels of the upper and lower reservoirs. The impact of setting up a dedicated power generation storage capacity for the power station on the original reservoir was analyzed, and the scheduling and operation modes of the upper and lower reservoirs were formulated.
