Study on the influence of rotary wheel feed rate on the residual stress of GH4169 superalloy

Although the optimization of rotary pressure process can reduce part of the residual stress, we still need to further explore the simple and practical residual stress reduction process of GH4169 alloy workpiece in the service environment with lower requirements for residual stress. In this paper, through the process test of GH4169 superalloy by deep rolling process, it is found that the plastic deformation inhomogeneity caused by the increase of the feeding rate, while the radial influence of the workpiece is relatively small. Therefore, when the feed rate of the rotary wheel increases from 80mm / min to 240 mm / min, the plastic deformation of the workpiece ring becomes less and more uneven, while the plastic deformation of the radial direction is not large. This change directly leads to the increase of cyclic residual stress of GH4169 alloy workpiece, while the change of radial residual stress is not obvious.
