Study on NOx emission characteristics of heavy-duty vehicles based on remote monitoring
Based on OBD remote data collection technology, the NOx emission characteristics of four heavy-duty diesel vehicles at the Euro 5 emission standard were analyzed under real-world driving conditions, exploring the impact of urea supply status and the SCR system. The results show that the vehicle's actual operating conditions are closely related to its emission characteristics. When the SCR system malfunctions, the NOx emission concentration significantly increases, ranging from 500 to 750 ppm, with the emission intensity 3.5 times higher than that of normal vehicles.
