Improved response speed and detectivity of a solar-blind photodetector by contact engineering with an interdigital-electrode semimetal

This work demonstrates that the Bi–Ga 2 O 3 interdigital-electrode photodetector shows a short response time of 16 ms, a high detectivity of 7.81 × 10 13 Jones, and a high photo-dark current ratio of 8.0 × 10 6 .
