Optimizing the Cementation of Indirect Composite Restorations: A Clinical Case Using the Combo Technique
This article presents a clinical case highlighting an efficient and evidence-based cementation protocol for indirect composite restorations using the combo technique. Emphasis is placed on the appropriate selection of resin cements-light-curing for highly translucent restorations and dual-curing for low-light transmission scenarios. Through a step-by-step clinical application, the article demonstrates how proper material pairing and adhesive procedures can enhance the bond strength, reduce postoperative sensitivity, and ensure long-term durability. The discussed protocol serves as a practical reference for clinicians aiming to streamline workflow and achieve optimal esthetic and functional outcomes in adhesive restorative dentistry.
