SYSTEM OF EFFECTIVE CAREER GUIDANCE FOR SENIOR GRADE STUDENTS FOR THE TEACHING PROFESSION

The article proves that the importance of effective career guidance for the teaching profession is determined both by the strategic need of the education system for young specialists and by the need to form a positive image of the teaching profession in the minds of the younger generation. The study proposes a system of effective career guidance for high school students for the teaching profession (a career guidance program may include a series of activities: trainings, trial lessons, meetings with teachers, creative projects; a practical component - organizing student initiatives (lessons for younger students, school events) and applying effective career guidance methods; digital support - creating information resources and using ICT to access materials about the profession; assessment - analyzing students' motivation, their competencies, and readiness to choose a profession through questionnaires, reflection, and feedback), which was developed taking into account a number of methodological approaches (competence-based, axiological, system-activity, cultural, informational, technological, resource-oriented, creative, and stakeholder). The principles of effective career guidance for high school students for the teaching profession are defined and characterized: personal orientation, professional attractiveness of the teacher's image, gradualness and systematicity, participation and involvement, partnership and interagency interaction, reflection and self-knowledge. The principle of personal orientation recognizes the uniqueness of each student and assumes consideration of his individual abilities, inclinations, value orientations and motivation when organizing career guidance activities. The principle of professional attractiveness of the teacher's image is aimed at forming a positive image of a teacher as a creative, socially significant and promising profession through live communication, examples of successful teachers and real stories. The principle of gradualness and systematicity assumes that career guidance work is implemented gradually, starting from the early stages of the educational process, with a logical sequence, moving from general familiarization to deeper immersion in pedagogical activity. The principle of participation and involvement involves the active inclusion of students in various forms of pedagogical practice: role-playing games, mentoring of younger students, participation in projects, volunteer initiatives, and school self-government activities. The principle of partnership and interagency interaction is based on cooperation between the school, higher pedagogical education institutions, local communities, parents, and professional associations to expand the career guidance space. The principle of reflection and self-knowledge is aimed at developing the student's ability to self-analyze, realize their strengths, and professional expectations, which contributes to making an informed decision about choosing a teaching profession.
