Thermal Ablation (Laser vs. Argon Plasma Coagulation) for the Treatment of Excessive Dynamic Airway Collapse: An in vivo Study in Bama Miniature Pigs
When the injury depth is limited to the submucosal layer of the tracheal membranous part by setting reasonable technical parameters, laser and precise APC can induce fibrous tissue hyperplasia and collagen deposition. However, precise APC is safer and more feasible, and further research is still needed to improve the surgical parameters and evaluate long-term clinical results.
