Gap-tunable resonant tunneling of two-dimensional surface polaritons in plasmonic double-barrier systems

We theoretically investigate interactions between two-dimensional surface polaritons (2DSPs) and a metal barrier, revealing gap-tunable resonant tunneling of 2DSPs through plasmonic double-barrier systems. Our theory enables precise polariton control and sub-wavelength resonance in nanoscale systems.

Abstract

We theoretically investigate interactions between two-dimensional surface polaritons (2DSPs) and a metal barrier, revealing gap-tunable resonant tunneling of 2DSPs through plasmonic double-barrier systems. Our theory enables precise polariton control and sub-wavelength resonance in nanoscale systems.
