The genome sequence of the Bright Straw moth, Agapeta zoegana (Linnaeus, 1767) (Lepidoptera: Tortricidae)
<ns3:p>We present a genome assembly from an individual male <ns3:italic>Agapeta zoegana</ns3:italic> (Bright Straw moth; Arthropoda; Insecta; Lepidoptera; Tortricidae). The assembly contains two haplotypes with total lengths of 578.36 megabases and 577.74 megabases. Most of haplotype 1 (99.51%) is scaffolded into 13 chromosomal pseudomolecules, including the Z sex chromosome. Haplotype 2 was assembled to scaffold level. The mitochondrial genome has also been assembled, with a length of 17.53 kilobases. This assembly was generated as part of the Darwin Tree of Life project, which produces reference genomes for eukaryotic species found in Britain and Ireland.</ns3:p>
