Leer como un maestro: análisis didáctico de textos literarios en la formación de futuros docentes / Reading Like a Master: Didactic Analysis of Literary Texts in Future Teachers' Training

The Spanish Language and Literature teacher must be able to select those texts that contribute most effectively to the literary education of their students. However, this task is often carried out without prior specific training, intuitively, or simply by repeating the choices of former teachers. This research aims to develop a structured model of textual analysis that not only helps future teachers enhance their literary competence but also enables them to assess, from a didactic perspective, which texts are most suitable for their students’ literary education. This tool differs from historical-literary commentary or other analyses in the philological field in that it does not evaluate the text solely based on its cultural or artistic aspects but rather determines its didactic potential for the literary education of a specific group of students, considering their academic and psychosocial characteristics and a specific level of literary competence. The systematic practice of this analysis on literary texts from all genres and periods, but especially on children's literature, enables future teachers to select those texts that, due to their didactic value, contribute to the development of their students’ literary competence.
