Challenging the Law of Energy Conservation through Superposed Waves Based on Spatial Symmetry of Two RF Sources: Theoretical Derivation and Experimental Verification

Introduction: Amid ongoing debates on potential violations of the Energy Conservation Law (ECL), this study presents evidence of energy doubling caused by co-phase interference, grounded in the concept of spatial symmetry that ensures the existence of two co-phase radiative sources. Methods: The core of the solution lies in the direct application of the superposition law to the radiative waves, in the presence of electromagnetic coupling between the two sources, and, thus, correcting a long-standing error in previous interpretations. Theoretical investigations are carried out on both the radiation sources and the waves separately, under the assumption that the distance between the two sources is much smaller than the wavelength of the radiation. To investigate the energy anomaly further, simulations were performed over greater distances to determine the cause of the discrepancy. Results: The results reveal that energy output initially doubles under the co-phase conditions and then exhibits a damped fluctuation pattern, eventually stabilizing in accordance with the ECL. Experimental validation in a microwave anechoic chamber confirms a 1.59-fold increase in power, aligning with theoretical predictions. Discussion: This is the first time a comprehensive observation has been presented through both theoretical analysis and experimental verification. The findings highlight a previously unrecognized condition under which energy doubling occurs, suggesting that classical ECL may require nuanced interpretation in coherent interference scenarios. Additional discussions are provided to clarify theoretical assumptions and experimental limitations. Conclusion: Overall, the study confirms the physical reality of the energy-doubling and fluctuation, underscoring its broader implications for understanding the boundaries of energy conservation in wave superposition phenomena.
