Modulating the luminescence properties of coronene molecules via inclusion complex formation with helical syndiotactic poly(methyl methacrylate)
Helical st-PMMA nanocavities encapsulate coronene, forming chiral inclusion aggregates that exhibit red-shifted and enhanced fluorescence emission. C 70 co-encapsulated within the cavity selectively quenches the emission of the confined coronene.
