Mechanically Robust, Thin MXene/PNFs Heterogeneous Paper for Effective Electromagnetic Interference Shielding
Abstract Effective electromagnetic interference (EMI) shielding materials, in combination with excellent EMI shielding effectiveness and superior mechanical strength, are required to be to meet the development of modern electronics and aerospace, which has remained a key challenge. Based on this, MXene/Poly(p‐phenylene‐benzodioxazole) nanofibers (PNFs) heterogeneous paper containing Ti 3 C 2 T x MXene nanosheets, and a PNFs substrate is prepared using a two‐step vacuum‐assisted filtration process. The heterogeneous MXene/PNFs paper offers the benefits of favorable mechanical properties with the tensile strength of 292.63 ± 9.88 MPa and strain‐to‐failure of 7.09 ± 0.48% and simultaneously boasts high conductivity of 48190.99 ± 4118.23 S m −1 , EMI shielding effect of 47.07 dB, and outstanding SSE/t of 101759.78 dB cm 2 g −1 . The functional partition design of heterogeneous papers provides a feasible idea for the development of effective EMI shielding paper applications.
