The Swiss army lens: an efficient optimization strategy for simultaneous, pressure invariant, passive athermal, and achromatic lenses with CODE V
With improved design, manufacturing and qualification methods, the requirements for optical systems become more and more challenging. Demanding environmental specifications can significantly complicate the design process for optical systems. In some cases, it is necessary to achieve pressure invariant, passive athermal, achromatic and tolerance desensitized performance at the same time. The presented work introduces a very efficient method to achieve these design goals simultaneously by using CODE V.
