Towards Atomically Thin Single Photon Detection

We present the fabrication and characterization of NbSe 2 -based superconducting devices for single-photon detection. Employing standard transition metal dichalcogenide production techniques and nanofabrication, we develop devices and investigate their transport characteristics and optical response.

Abstract

We present the fabrication and characterization of NbSe 2 -based superconducting devices for single-photon detection. Employing standard transition metal dichalcogenide production techniques and nanofabrication, we develop devices and investigate their transport characteristics and optical response.
