Chip-Scale Photonic AC-DC Equivalence Converter

We demonstrate an on-chip photonic thermal transfer device utilizing a silicon photonic crystal cavity. We report temperature (voltage) sensitivity of -9.28 MHz/mK (-8.88 MHz/mV) with time constant (τ) of ≈1 minute.
