Free-Space to SMF Integration and Green-to-C-Band Conversion Based on PPLN for Remote Optical Sensing

We propose a PPLN-based free-space to SMF conversion system, effectively down-converting 518 nm green light to C-band for remote sensing. Reaching 1.6% conversion efficiency, our system notably lowers transmission loss and enables reliable long-range communication.

Abstract

We propose a PPLN-based free-space to SMF conversion system, effectively down-converting 518 nm green light to C-band for remote sensing. Reaching 1.6% conversion efficiency, our system notably lowers transmission loss and enables reliable long-range communication.
