Simulation-Informed Correction of Gaussian Beam Misalignment for Accurate Phase Retrieval Using the Gerchberg-Saxton Algorithm
Accurate phase retrieval is critical for characterizing light propagation through the underwater environment. We investigate the Gerchberg-Saxton algorithm’s sensitivity to beam misalignment, demonstrating through simulations and experiments a tilt-correction method that resolves higher-order aberrations and improves phase measurement reliability.
