Abnormally Slow Hot-Carrier Thermalization via Energy Funneling in Mixed Nanocrystalline/Quasi-2D Perovskites

An abnormally slow hot-carrier thermalization (0.9 ps) is revealed in mixed nanocrystalline/quasi-2D CsPbI 3 mediated by energy funneling. The funneling efficiency is further retarded by 40% due to enhanced carrier confinement modulated by higher quasi-2D proportion.

Abstract

An abnormally slow hot-carrier thermalization (0.9 ps) is revealed in mixed nanocrystalline/quasi-2D CsPbI 3 mediated by energy funneling. The funneling efficiency is further retarded by 40% due to enhanced carrier confinement modulated by higher quasi-2D proportion.
