Multiplexed Visible Laser Diode Array for Multispectral Fluorescence Microscopy

We present a fluorescence microscopy technique using evanescent illumination from a multiplexed array of laser diodes and detection using a multispectral camera. Using fluorescent dye emulsions, we demonstrate the ability of the setup to quickly distinguish multiple fluorophores spatially and spectrally.

Abstract

We present a fluorescence microscopy technique using evanescent illumination from a multiplexed array of laser diodes and detection using a multispectral camera. Using fluorescent dye emulsions, we demonstrate the ability of the setup to quickly distinguish multiple fluorophores spatially and spectrally.
