Using Perfect Vortex Beams to Detect the Lateral Position of Hidden Objects

We show, numerically and experimentally, how sensing procedures can rely on loss of orbital angular momenta in structured speckle fields. We demonstrate the ability to determine lateral locations of objects embedded in volumetric scattering media.
