Enhancing Data Center Connectivity: Self-Homodyne 2-OTDM for High-Density WDM Transmission

Toward high-speed DSP-free optical link, we demonstrate a high-density WDM 2-OTDM self-homodyne transmission of 64-Gbaud QPSK signals over 1-km DSF, achieving 512-Gbps data-rate with a BER below HD-FEC threshold and a 33% improved bandwidth utilization.

Abstract

Toward high-speed DSP-free optical link, we demonstrate a high-density WDM 2-OTDM self-homodyne transmission of 64-Gbaud QPSK signals over 1-km DSF, achieving 512-Gbps data-rate with a BER below HD-FEC threshold and a 33% improved bandwidth utilization.
