Wavelength-Controllable Nanolasers at ~1.5 μm based on Single-crystal 2D ErOCl with Giant Optical Gain

We synthesized 2D single-crystal ErOCl with broad spectral gain at ~1.5 μm. By integrating with silicon microcavity arrays, we achieved room-temperature, wavelength-controllable lasing across a range of 1504 nm to 1561 nm.

Abstract

We synthesized 2D single-crystal ErOCl with broad spectral gain at ~1.5 μm. By integrating with silicon microcavity arrays, we achieved room-temperature, wavelength-controllable lasing across a range of 1504 nm to 1561 nm.
