Temperature-Dependent Raman Lasing Behavior in 4H-SiC Microring Resonators

We demonstrate Raman lasing in 4H-SiC microring resonators, analyze and characterize the temperature-dependence of the lasing. We evaluate the thermo-optic coefficient to be 4 . 50 × 10 − 5 K − 1 . The result shows the robustness of the thermal tuning of the microring for Raman lasing.

Abstract

We demonstrate Raman lasing in 4H-SiC microring resonators, analyze and characterize the temperature-dependence of the lasing. We evaluate the thermo-optic coefficient to be 4 . 50 × 10 − 5 K − 1 . The result shows the robustness of the thermal tuning of the microring for Raman lasing.
