Cyclic Arrayed Waveguide Grating in Spectral Domain Optical Coherence Tomography

By utilizing cyclic output wavelength characteristics of 16x16 arrayed waveguide grating (AWG), we theoretically demonstrate a flattened output spectrum to improve the axial resolution of spectral-domain optical coherence tomography by 37.5% compared with traditional AWGs.
