Shoreline and offshore tide monitoring based on existing subsea cable and intensity-based φ-OTDR

Tide monitoring is crucial for coastal management and protection. We demonstrate shoreline tide monitoring and distributed offshore tide pattern observation using existing subsea cable and intensity-based φ-OTDR, showing great potential for large-scale offshore tide monitoring.
