Optical Digital Logic Gates Based on Phase-Modulated Microdisk Spiking Neurons for Neuromorphic Computing

We propose an optical neuromorphic digital logic architecture based on microdisk spiking neurons, respectively demonstrating AND, OR, NOT, and XOR operations through the neural responses of optically injected microdisk lasers with different phase-modulated encoding rules.
