Active control and encoding of laser states in a L-band mode-locked fiber laser

Active and repeatable controlling of laser states, CS and SM, are achieved in a L-band mode-locked fiber laser. Via gain control, multi-letter encoding is implemented successfully based on laser states switching operation.
