Development of a high-speed-servo Er-fiber comb with a 1 Hz relative linewidth based on a semiconductor saturable absorber mirror

We developed an Er-fiber comb based on a semiconductor saturable absorber mirror and achieved high-speed-servo control of the laser cavity length using intra-cavity electro-optic modulator. We evaluated the relative linewidth of the developed Er-fiber comb and confirmed it to be less than 1 Hz.

Abstract

We developed an Er-fiber comb based on a semiconductor saturable absorber mirror and achieved high-speed-servo control of the laser cavity length using intra-cavity electro-optic modulator. We evaluated the relative linewidth of the developed Er-fiber comb and confirmed it to be less than 1 Hz.
