High Responsivity 1.5 μm Photodetector based on Upconversion Nanoparticles and Photogating Effect

We demonstrated a 1.5 μm upconversion photodetector with a record peak responsivity of 59.5 AW -1 , combining the efficient upconversion of erbium nanoparticles with the enhanced photoconductive gain from the photogating effect in graphene.
