Silicon Carbide Euler Spiral-Ring Resonator for Kerr nonlinearity
We designed a 4H-SiC spiral-ring resonator with a Free Spectral Range (FSR) of 145 GHz and normal dispersion. This resonator is based on the Euler adiabatic bending structure, which exhibits an intrinsic Q factor exceeding 10 6 and the Kerr comb generation within this resonator was observed.
