A Polymer Optical Waveguide-Based Surface Plasmon Resonance Sensor for Ultra-High Sensitivity Detection

Here we proposed a highly sensitive surface plasmon resonance sensor based on low reflective index polymer waveguide. The calculated sensitivity is 18400 nm/RIU in the RI range of 1.335-1.355 and practically reaches 12453 nm/RIU at the RI of 1.358.
