Large-Area Photonic Emitters with Full Spatial Control of Intensity, Phase, and Polarization
A modulated-waveguide photonic metamaterial grating emits ≈300 μm optical beams with customizable polarization, intensity, and phase at 460 nm wavelength. Symmetry breaking allows gradual and smooth emission profiles with large ≈100 nm minimum feature size.
