Application of lightweight multitechnology integrated wireless communication system in power emergency scenarios
Addressing the critical limitations of traditional power emergency systems—including poor environmental adaptability, bandwidth bottlenecks and single-service support in "triple-outage" scenarios (power/network/road disruption)—this study proposes a lightweight wireless converged communication system. The system integrates Ku-band High-Throughput Satellite (HTS) and mobile 4G portable base stations to form a "public-professional converged" architecture, leveraging a tethered UAV as the carrier for dual-functionality: HTS enables wide-area network backhaul (150 Mbps downlink), while 4G base stations provide on-site coverage (1.4-km radius). Field tests validate that the system delivers 15 Mbps downlink/8 Mbps uplink per user with <500 ms delay. This solution overcomes VSAT’s deployment inefficiencies and offers cost-effective, flexible support for power emergency repair, demonstrating significant engineering value in enhancing grid emergency response.
