Estrategias de prevención del acoso escolar en estudiantes de 10 a 12 años en la Escuela Primaria Javier Rojo Gómez, Luis Echeverría Álvarez

This study explores the prevention of bullying among children aged 10 to 12 at Javier Rojo Gómez Primary School, located in Luis Echeverría Álvarez, from a criminological perspective. The primary aim is to implement preventive strategies that actively involve teachers, parents, and pupils, focusing on the identification of bullying behaviours through observation and interaction, while also delivering guidance sessions with practical recommendations to discourage such conduct. The research adopts a qualitative, observational, and descriptive design, employing semi-structured interviews with a purposive sample of pupils within the targeted age group. Particular emphasis is placed on the influence of family-related factors, such as parental supervision and the emotional climate at home, alongside the impact of the school and wider social environment on the manifestation of bullying. The findings highlight variations in children’s perceptions of their school setting, the prevalence of verbal aggression and social exclusion, and the critical role of family support in enabling victims to seek help. The study concludes that bullying is a complex and multi-causal phenomenon, requiring comprehensive preventive strategies that integrate psychological, familial, and educational dimensions to create a safe and protective environment for children.
