Modelo de planificación y acción didáctica para el desarrollo de competencias digitales.

The aim of the study was to generate a model of planning and didactic action by competencies to strengthen the graphic designers training in digital competences development as a fundamental element for project activities production. The research is qualitative, focused on grounded theory and organized in 3 moments: (1) Characterization of graphic design career at Universidad del Zulia, (2) Diagnosis of the elements for the teaching and learning of graphic design proposed by a group of teaching actors, and (3) Model construction. The achievement of digital competence as the foundation of the project activity deserves a pedagogical praxis in correspondence with the complexity of the training requirements in the graphic design area, prepared to develop in students the ability to respond to the profession challenges. As a proposal, a model of planning and didactic action is presented with a transversal vision in the formation of the instrumental axis of the curriculum of the graphic design career oriented to the consolidation of expertise for the use of digital media as support tools for project activity.
