Observation of a bright squeezed quantum frequency comb in nanophotonics

We present the first bright amplitude-squeezed frequency comb using an on-chip Si 3 N 4 optical parametric amplifier. We demonstrate 6 pairs of two-mode-squeezed states (12 qumodes) with a maximum 4 dB of directly detected quantum noise reduction.

Abstract

We present the first bright amplitude-squeezed frequency comb using an on-chip Si 3 N 4 optical parametric amplifier. We demonstrate 6 pairs of two-mode-squeezed states (12 qumodes) with a maximum 4 dB of directly detected quantum noise reduction.
