Lithium tantalate high-speed modulators on a silicon photonics platform
We present lithium tantalate high-speed modulators heterogeneously integrated on a back-end standard silicon photonics platform. The 7 mm long devices have a half-wave voltage of 3.5 V and a bandwidth >70 GHz.
