A robust cross nanobeam for polarization demultiplexing of single quantum dots

We fabricate crossed nanobeams with an inversely designed junction to extract polarization demultiplexed, fine-structure-split emission from a quantum dot into orthogonal waveguides. Our design provides high photon extraction efficiency and is amenable to robust fabrication.

We fabricate crossed nanobeams with an inversely designed junction to extract polarization demultiplexed, fine-structure-split emission from a quantum dot into orthogonal waveguides. Our design provides high photon extraction efficiency and is amenable to robust fabrication.
