Visible Spectrum Topological Photonic Crystal Cavities on the III-N Wide Bandgap Platform

GaN-based topological photonic crystal cavities resonating near the wavelength of 680 nm were experimentally demonstrated with a high Q-factor near 600. Further resonance extension covering the entire visible spectrum was achieved through structure scaling.
