Unified Framework for Enhancing Chiral Light-Matter Interactions

We propose metasurfaces with chiral geometries and material anisotropies for "extrinsic" and "intrinsic" chiral emission enhancement. Using a near-field formulation of chirality, we illuminate the role chirality control plays in enhancing chiral light-matter interactions.

Abstract

We propose metasurfaces with chiral geometries and material anisotropies for "extrinsic" and "intrinsic" chiral emission enhancement. Using a near-field formulation of chirality, we illuminate the role chirality control plays in enhancing chiral light-matter interactions.
