Certification of high-dimensional quantum steering via experimentally-friendly energy-time measurements

Here we develop a scheme and experimentally demonstrate the first multi-dimensional quantum steering using discretized time-frequency bases. At the qudit source, we extract a lower bound of steering robustness of 8.9 ± 0.1 that demonstrates a 9-dimensional quantum steering, after the transportation, a 7-dimensional quantum steering is preserved.

Abstract

Here we develop a scheme and experimentally demonstrate the first multi-dimensional quantum steering using discretized time-frequency bases. At the qudit source, we extract a lower bound of steering robustness of 8.9 ± 0.1 that demonstrates a 9-dimensional quantum steering, after the transportation, a 7-dimensional quantum steering is preserved.
