Wavelength-multiplexed diagonal-based photonic edge-computing architecture

A photonic edge-computing system based on wavelength-multiplexed diagonals is developed with spectrally selective delay lines enabling model-size-scale component reductions for the low-power client’s processor. The system is experimentally demonstrated with near-ideal performance on standard benchmarks.

Abstract

A photonic edge-computing system based on wavelength-multiplexed diagonals is developed with spectrally selective delay lines enabling model-size-scale component reductions for the low-power client’s processor. The system is experimentally demonstrated with near-ideal performance on standard benchmarks.
